Paula: ‘After completing my certification, I travelled around the US and then spent some time studying art in Hawaii. Jenna: ‘When I finished my course, I realized that I loved Alghero so much that I wanted to stay on for a while. I got my advanced PADI license and worked as a translator. Now I am back in the States working on my M.B.A. I plan to use this experience for my future career in international business, something that combines my interest with English teaching and the world of business.’

Gabriel: ‘I am a screenwriter by trade, but I wanted to find a profession that would allow me to travel and have a wide range of experiences, and which would also afford me the time I need to work on my various projects. Via Lingua Alghero helped me not only obtain the certification I needed, but also the contact that led to being hired in Rabat, Marocco, where I am currently working as an EFL teacher!’

Olivia: ‘I was working as a Public Relations Coordinator in the fashion industry in London, when I decided that I wanted a change of pace. I took the Via Lingua Alghero certification course and discovered I loved teaching! And now I live in Sardinia, where I found a job!’

Ashton:I had spent all my post college years selling real estate in the downtown area of Raleigh, NC and after nearly five years I was ready to take on another challenge and push myself to learn something new. I did a ton of research and chose the Via Lingua Alghero school for its reputation (and location) to pursue my TEFL certification, and I could not have been more pleased by the program. These days, I’m living in Cagliari and teaching for three different schools - and I love it!
Check out Ashton’s blog! Very interesting!

Katie:’Like most people, I wasn’t 100% sure about what I wanted to do after college. The Via Lingua program was an amazing solution - it provided me with the skills and the opportunities to live and teach English abroad! The experiences that resulted from the Via Lingua program in Alghero are indispensable not only for life in general, but also for my future career in the field of international relations.’
